Phone Calls from Pair Domains

There are a few reasons Pair Domains might call you. When we call, we will not ask you for your password or credit card information. You should be suspicious of any call that requests your password or credit card information.

Verification Calls
When you provide a phone number for your account, we need to verify that it can reach somebody. Many verifications can be handled by SMS (text). You can also request an automated verification call from within your account.

If the phone number requires selecting a menu option, entering an extension, or leaving voice mail, you can contact us and request a call back to verify the number. If we leave voice mail, we will provide a verification code. The code can be entered in your account, it can be emailed to us, or you can call us and provide the code.

Two Factor Authentication
If you set up to factor authentication and are locked out of your account, we will need to turn it off so you can log in. We may call you to confirm that you want to turn it off. These calls are only made in response to a request that you make. If we are unable to speak to you, we can leave voice mail with a verification code. You can email the code to us or you can call us and provide the code.

Changing Contact Information
Changes to the Registrant (Owner) contact information have to be approved by the current contact and the new contact. Most of these changes can be handled through email. However, if the current owner email address does not work, we might call you to get approval for changes. If we are unable to speak to you, we can leave voice mail with a a verification code. You can email the code to us or you can call us and provide the code.

Many of these phone calls are made in response to a request from you. However, we might call if we become aware that a domain where the Registrant email address does not work.
